CBSE Revolutionizes Exam Ethics: Innovative Guidelines for 2025 Board Exams Promote Integrity

The Central Board of Secondary Education has released a new set of guidelines that will help ensure academic integrity in the upcoming 2025 board exams. Over 44 lakh students are gearing up for exams in 204 subjects starting February 15, 2025, and the board is making all efforts to create a fair and transparent examination environment. The schools have now been charged with the responsibility of teaching both the students and parents about the ethics of the exams, consequences of malpractices, and the need to avoid misinformation. The board has also adopted high-tech surveillance measures like CCTV monitoring in the examination halls and an outright ban on electronic devices. These visionary steps are intended to instill a culture of academic honesty and equip the students to face ethical dilemmas in their professional lives later on.
