CBSE’s Physics Exam: Pune Students Feeling the Gravitational Pull of Confusion
The CBSE Class 12 Physics paper on February 21, 2025, received a mixed reaction from students in Pune. While some liked the paper's conceptual clarity and fidelity to the NCERT syllabus, others felt that certain sections were lengthy and challenging. Numerical problems in Sections B and C were particularly challenging, requiring sound analytical abilities and time management.
Paper Set 3 was the most difficult, as students complained about tough multiple-choice and application-based questions. However, Sections D and E offered scoring opportunities with easy case studies and long-answer questions. Teachers marked the paper as moderately difficult but well-structured, testing theoretical knowledge as well as problem-solving skills.
Overall, the test underlined the necessity for conceptual preparation instead of rote learning, with students continuing to be divided on their performance.
