MEP Infrastructure Developers has announced the resignation of its Chief Financial Officer, Rajendra Pawar, adding a fresh layer of change at the road developer already under corporate insolvency resolution. Pawar, who held the CFO role since October 2022, stepped down effective end of business hours on 31 May 2026, citing evolving professional commitments and new opportunities.

In an exchange filing, the company said the resignation, tendered via email, has been formally accepted by Resolution Professional (RP) Ravindra Kumar Goyal, who currently oversees the company under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code. MEP clarified that there are no other material reasons for Pawar’s exit beyond those stated in his communication.

Leadership Change Amid Insolvency Process

MEP Infrastructure has been under corporate insolvency resolution since March 2024 following an NCLT order, with a moratorium in place under Section 14 of the IBC. Within this context, the CFO’s departure is notable, given the critical role finance leadership plays in managing creditors, compliances and information flows during the resolution process.

Regulatory Disclosures And Next Steps

As required under Regulation 30 of SEBI’s LODR norms, the company has shared key details in Annexure A, confirming that Pawar holds no shares in the company and that relationship and debarment disclosures are not applicable. The board and RP will now be expected to put in place interim arrangements or a successor to steer finance and reporting functions through the remainder of the CIRP.
