Chhattisgarh Finance Minister Creates History with Handwritten Budget

In a stunning act of solidarity, Chhattisgarh's Finance Minister O.P. Choudhary handed over a 100-page handwritten budget for the 2025-26 financial year. This unprecedented step deviates from the conventional computer-printed documents and is a personal commitment by Choudhary towards the financial planning of the state. The budget, penned in Hindi, has themes of "GYAN" and "GATI," following inclusive development, infrastructure development, and technology upgradation. Choudhary worked for months getting ready with the budget, actually spending a week on writing it down.
