Duckett's Career-Best 165 Sets New Champions Trophy Record

Ben Duckett smashed a career-best 165 off 143 balls as England posted 351/8 against Australia in their Champions Trophy opener in Lahore. Duckett's innings, featuring 17 fours and 3 sixes, set a new record for the highest individual score in Champions Trophy history. Joe Root supported with 68 in a 158-run partnership. England's total of 351/8 is now the highest team score in Champions Trophy history, surpassing New Zealand's 347/4 against USA in 2004. However, Josh Inglis' unbeaten 120 helped Australia chase down the target in a record-breaking run chase, handing England a disappointing defeat to start their campaign.
