Rajkot, Nagpur, and Thrissur have registered over 150% growth in the number of companies setting up operations, according to Hurun's latest report on top business hotspots in India. This surge highlights a significant shift in the country's business landscape, with smaller cities attracting more companies than traditional metros like Mumbai and Bengaluru. The trend is driven by factors such as improved infrastructure, lower operating costs, and the availability of skilled talent. The report also notes a 20% increase in workforce among listed companies, adding 1.4 million new jobs and expanding to 8.4 million employees, representing about 16% of India's total workforce.
