Empowering India’s Future: PM Modi Declares Farmers, Youth, Poor, and Women as Four Pillars of Viksit Bharat

In a historic speech on the inauguration of Rs 58,000 crore development projects in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stressed that the cornerstone of a developed India-Viksit Bharat-lies on four pillars: farmers, youth, the poor, and women's empowerment. Emphasizing the government's unflinching resolve, Modi emphasized colossal investments in agriculture in the form of almost Rs 12 lakh crore laid out on low-cost fertilizers and handouts of newer seed varieties to increase productivity. He also highlighted considerable fiscal support through programs such as PM Fasal Bima Yojana and PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, which have reached farmers of Andhra Pradesh directly with thousands of crores in claims settlements and direct benefit transfers.

The Prime Minister emphasised the necessity of increasing the scope of irrigation and river-linking projects so that farmers would have water security, mentioning the Polavaram Project as one such revolutionary endeavour. Modi additionally connected empowering young people and women as being core to India's growth story and assured that these pillars will guide the country forward towards a healthy and prosperous inclusive future. The declaration was one part of a vision to turn Amaravati into a growth engine for Viksit Bharat, promoting unity and development by means of infrastructure, defense, and cultural works.

This is a holistic vision with the intention to raise every rung of society so that India's development journey is sustainable as well as equitable.
