Fasten Your Seatbelts! Hisar-Chandigarh Air Route Opens for Business

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini inaugurated the much-awaited Chandigarh-Hisar flight facility, a turning point in the state's aviation development. The Alliance Air flight will operate twice a week, linking Maharaja Agrasen International Airport, Hisar, to Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport, Chandigarh.

Key Features of the New Air Service

The flight will depart from Hisar every Monday and Friday at 4:55 PM and will arrive at Chandigarh at 5:55 PM.

The return flight from Chandigarh will leave at 3:20 PM and reach Hisar at 4:30 PM.

The 48-seat ATR-72 plane will be operating with passengers, with the price from ₹1,449 to ₹1,704 for Hisar-Chandigarh and ₹1,979 for Chandigarh-Hisar.

It will take about 70 minutes to travel, much shorter than the train and road journeys.

Future Expansion Plans

Air services between Hisar and Jaipur, Jammu, and Ahmedabad will be introduced in the near future, CM Saini declared.

Hisar is being developed as an industrial city, with increased connectivity expected to drive economic growth.

The airport expansion is in line with PM Narendra Modi's vision of opening up air transport for all citizens.
