Fields of Gold: Modi's Ambitious Roadmap to Revolutionize Indian Farming

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while speaking at a post-budget webinar on farming and rural growth, described the resolve of his government to empowering farmers and accelerating the agricultural industry. Modi talked about the achievements of schemes such as PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, which has given ₹3.75 lakh crore to 11 crore farmers. He made the announcement regarding the new PM Dhan Dhanya Krishi Yojana, with a focus on making 100 lowest-agriculture-productivity districts more developed. The Prime Minister also talked about raising pulse production, enhancing sustainable fishing, and using technology for farming. Modi further underlined the significance of rural development, quoting schemes such as PM Awas Yojana-Gramin and Swamitva Yojana in building a stronger rural economy.
