The final at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey saw its top-tier ticket price rise from $8,680 in December to $10,990 in the latest sales round. Mid-tier tickets also jumped significantly, with Category 2 now priced at $7,380 and Category 3 at $5,785.

Supporters have criticized the hikes, noting that the 2026 edition could be the most expensive World Cup yet. Compared to Qatar 2022, final ticket prices have surged by 584%, sparking debate over FIFA’s prioritization of revenue over inclusivity.
