Foseco India Limited, a leading metallurgical products and services company, has announced its unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter ended 31 March 2026. The Board also approved the re-appointment of Ernst & Young LLP as Internal Auditor for one year from 1 April 2026, reinforcing its focus on governance and internal controls.

Quarterly Financial Snapshot

On a standalone basis, revenue from operations for the quarter stood at Rs 16,270.26 lakh, with total income of Rs 16,813.27 lakh. Standalone profit before tax was Rs 3,225.56 lakh, while net profit for the period came in at Rs 2,396.17 lakh, translating into earnings per share of Rs 31.79.

Consolidated Performance And Earnings

At the consolidated level, Foseco India reported revenue from operations of about Rs 20,100 lakh (Rs 2.01 billion) for Q4 FY26, reflecting the contribution from its subsidiary Foseco Crucible India Limited. Consolidated net profit stood at Rs 3,381 lakh (Rs 338.1 million), with earnings per share of Rs 44.86, underscoring enhanced profitability at the group level.

Subsidiary Dynamics And Exceptional Items

Foseco Crucible India Limited (formerly Morganite Crucible India Limited) reported revenue of Rs 3,735.20 lakh, with a modest net loss after tax of Rs 139.61 lakh and total comprehensive income of Rs 75.68 lakh for the quarter. The group continues to normalise earlier exceptional items relating to pre-acquisition expenses and labour code provisions, including a reversal of Rs 216.37 lakh in the current quarter following regulatory clarifications.

Strategic Actions And Governance

The open offer for FCIL concluded on 13 January 2026, with 99,081 shares tendered by public shareholders for an aggregate consideration of Rs 1,542.84 lakh, further consolidating Foseco India’s control over the subsidiary. The re-appointment of Ernst & Young LLP as Internal Auditor for FY26–27 underscores the company’s commitment to robust risk management, compliance and internal audit practices.
