Union sports minister Mansukh Mandaviya released the strategic vision for India's growth into a global sporting nation that will achieve its position as a top-five country by 2047 when India will have completed its first centenary since gaining independence.

He further emphasized the corporate sector's role in supporting sports, stating that each corporate entity should focus on a single sport to ensure dedicated attention and optimal resource allocation.
