GE Aerospace Signs Contract with Indian Air Force for T700 Engine Sustainment

GE Aerospace has signed a five-year Performance Based Logistics (PBL) contract with the Indian Air Force (IAF) to provide sustainment solutions for T700-GE-701D engines powering the IAF's AH-64E-I Apache helicopters. This agreement covers Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) services and the supply of flight line parts to ensure engine availability.The PBL contract aims to streamline operations, enhance turnaround times, and boost the operational readiness of the Apache fleet. "This partnership underscores our commitment to supporting the IAF's mission readiness," said Youngje Kim, VP at GE Aerospace.This collaboration strengthens India's defense capabilities and highlights GE's expertise in aviation technology.
