Godfrey Phillips Soars on Stellar Q3 Performance: Profit Surges 49%

 

Godfrey Phillips India Ltd (GDFR.NS) shares are up in pre-open trade following impressive Q3 FY25 results. The cigarette maker reported a 48.7% year-on-year jump in net profit to ₹315.9 crore, while revenue surged 27.3% to ₹1,591.2 crore. EBITDA zoomed 57.6% to ₹358.8 crore, with margins expanding to 22.6%. The strong performance was driven by robust demand across segments. Despite closing 8.79% lower yesterday at ₹4,982.95, today's pre-open gains signal renewed investor confidence. Analysts expect the stock to remain buoyant as the company continues to outperform industry growth rates.
