Golden State, Golden Opportunities: Forbes Spotlights California's Hottest Startups

Forbes has announced its 2025 list of America’s Best Startup Employers, uncovering the best workplace options in California. It is no surprise to see the Golden State rise to the top, with 11 out of the top 15 companies being headquartered there, including Cribl, Hightouch and Lunar Energy leading the charge, followed by Mercury and Whatnot as honorable mentions. A few other California based companies join the top 10, including Anthropic, Mesh, Pacaso, Mill and OpenAI. These employer success rankings represent stellar performance in employer reputation, employee satisfaction and employee growth. This Top 10 list reiterates California's continuing strength in innovation, particularly in AI and sustainability, and all the excitement that provides for prospective employees in the jobs market and startup ecosystem.
