Haier's India Leap: Rs 1,000 Crore Investment to Achieve USD 2 Billion Sales Milestone

Haier Appliances India plans to reach USD 2 billion sales in the next 3-4 years based on high double-digit growth across product categories and channels. Haier is setting up Rs 1,000 crore worth of manufacturing between 2024-2028 on new AC lines and injection molding units. It will raise the capacity from 1.5 million to 4 million units per year. Haier also intends to establish a plant in South India and start exports by 2026. Haier believes there is huge growth potential in the low-penetration appliance market in India.
