Haldiram's and JAFZA Join Forces to Establish Major Saffron Processing Facility in Dubai

Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza) and Haldiram's have signed an agreement to establish one of the region's largest saffron processing facilities. The initial hub will process 30 metric tonnes of saffron, with plans to scale up to 100 metric tonnes over the next five years. This strategic partnership aims to leverage Dubai's position as a global trade hub and Jafza's advanced infrastructure to enhance saffron processing capabilities in the region. The facility is expected to create new job opportunities and contribute to the growth of Dubai's food processing sector, aligning with the emirate's economic diversification goals.
