Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, accompanied by his wife Kalpana Soren, campaigned in the Jungle Mahal region, including Purulia, Bankura, and Midnapore. His party, the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), has pledged full support to TMC, emphasizing unity against divisive politics. 

Tejashwi Yadav’s Roadshows

RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav held rallies and roadshows in Kolkata and surrounding districts, urging voters to back Mamata Banerjee. His presence underscores the opposition’s reliance on regional leaders to mobilize grassroots support. 

Kejriwal’s Endorsement

AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal is scheduled to campaign in Kolkata, including rallies in Baliganj and Guru Ravidas Park. He praised Mamata Banerjee for “fighting a difficult battle,” positioning his support as part of a larger anti-BJP narrative. 

Opposition Strategy

The alliance of regional leaders aims to consolidate anti-BJP votes, though Congress is contesting separately. Analysts note that the opposition’s momentum hinges on TMC’s performance, making these endorsements crucial for Mamata Banerjee’s campaign.
