Filmmaker Priyadarshan has officially announced Hera Pheri 3, reuniting the iconic trio—Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Suniel Shetty—for the long-awaited sequel. The director confirmed the project on his 68th birthday (January 30, 2025) via social media, responding to Akshay’s playful birthday wish with: “I’m willing to do Hera Pheri 3. Are you ready?” Akshay enthusiastically replied, calling it the “best gift,” while Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty echoed their excitement.
The original team, including producer Firoz Nadiadwala, will begin shooting in December 2025, targeting a late-2026 release. Priyadarshan, who directed the 2000 cult classic, aims to revive the chaotic charm of Babu Bhaiya, Raju, and Shyam.
