Hyundai India Celebrates 25 Years of Exports, Ships Over 3.7 Million Vehicles

 

Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) has marked a significant milestone, completing 25 years of exports from India. Since beginning exports in 1999, HMIL has shipped over 3.7 million "Made in India" vehicles to more than 60 countries, solidifying its position as India's largest passenger car exporter. The Hyundai i10 family has surpassed 1.5 million exports, while the Verna family crossed 500,000 units. In 2024, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Mexico, Chile, and Peru were the top export markets. This achievement underscores India's growing importance in global automotive manufacturing and Hyundai's commitment to the "Make in India" initiative.
