ICAI President Nanda: Tax Audits Our Specialty, Distinguishing CAs from Other Accountants

ICAI President Charanjot Singh Nanda emphasized the unique expertise of Chartered Accountants in tax audits, asserting that it would be unfair to equate others with CAs in this domain. Nanda outlined plans to make Indian CA firms global players and create new professional opportunities. He also stressed the importance of work-life balance for ICAI members and students, announcing the formation of a committee to promote this initiative. The ICAI president further highlighted the institute's focus on ethics and maintaining a robust disciplinary mechanism.
