India and Qatar Sign Landmark MoUs to Boost Economic Ties

India and Qatar have elevated their bilateral relations to a 'Strategic Partnership' today, signing multiple agreements to enhance cooperation in trade, energy, investments, and technology. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of Qatar, witnessed the exchange of MoUs at Hyderabad House in New Delhi. The agreements include a revised deal for avoiding double taxation and preventing fiscal evasion. Both nations also agreed to focus on food security, culture, and people-to-people ties. This strategic upgrade aims to strengthen economic collaboration and foster innovation between the two countries.
