India Launches EFTA Desk to Boost $100 Billion Investment Plan

India has inaugurated a dedicated EFTA desk to facilitate trade and investment under the recently signed Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA). This strategic move aims to support the ambitious $100 billion investment commitment from EFTA countries over the next 15 years. The desk will serve as a one-stop center for EFTA companies exploring opportunities in India, providing market insights, regulatory guidance, and business facilitation services. A high-level EFTA-India business roundtable is also scheduled, highlighting the growing economic ties between India and the European Free Trade Association bloc.
