India's Ambitious Viksit Bharat Vision Requires ₹ 1,094 Lakh Crore Funding

The chairman of State Bank of India has announced that the funding of a staggering ₹1,094 lakh crore would be required over the next 11 years to achieve the Viksit Bharat goal by 2047. The financial roadmap seeks to ensure 8-9% growth by 2036, and it is expected that banks will contribute ₹323 lakh crore and equity markets ₹643 lakh crore. This comprehensive strategy reiterates the government's intent to transform India into a developed nation by its centenary of independence. This ambitious vision aims for inclusive development across all sectors.
