In a historic repeat of 1950, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto graced India's 76th Republic Day celebrations as the Chief Guest. The event, held at Kartavya Path in New Delhi, showcased India's cultural diversity and military prowess. A 352-member Indonesian marching and band contingent participated in the parade, marking the first time an Indonesian contingent has joined a foreign national day parade. This visit underscores the strong bilateral ties between India and Indonesia, with both nations signing pacts on maritime security, defense, and health cooperation.
