Jagsonpal Pharmaceuticals Ltd. has announced its latest strategic move, acquiring the India business of Resilient Cosmeceuticals for ₹240 million. This acquisition aligns with Jagsonpal's recent growth strategy, following its ₹924.7 million purchase of Yash Pharma's India and Bhutan operations in May 2024. The deal is expected to strengthen Jagsonpal's presence in the dermatology and cosmeceuticals segments, complementing its existing portfolio. This move follows Jagsonpal's pattern of expanding into new therapeutic areas and market segments, as seen with the Yash Pharma acquisition that gave them access to dermatology and pediatric markets. The transaction is likely to be financed through internal accruals, similar to previous acquisitions.
