Ladies First: Hyderabad's Airport-Style Railway Station Run Entirely by Women

The Begumpet Railway Station in Hyderabad is close to finishing its ambitious redevelopment work, with 90% of the work completed already. Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy declared that the station, developed to airport-like standards at a cost of Rs. 38 crore, will soon be operated completely by an all-women team. The revamped station will boast better facilities, such as entry ramps, a foot overbridge, and green infrastructure. This is a part of the 'Naya Bharat Naya Station' under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. The station will be inaugurated to the nation within weeks, being a major development milestone for Telangana's railway infrastructure.
