NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), the renewable energy arm of India’s largest power producer NTPC Limited, has achieved a significant milestone by declaring the commercial operation of a part capacity of 25 MW solar power from its ongoing 150 MW solar project in Bhuj, Gujarat. The project is operated through Ayana Renewable Power Four Private Limited, a subsidiary of Ayana Renewable Power Pvt. Ltd., which itself is a wholly owned subsidiary of ONGC NTPC Green Private Limited, a joint venture between ONGC and NTPC. This addition, effective from September 3, 2025, increases NGEL Group’s total installed capacity from 7,247.575 MW to 7,272.575 MW, marking another key step in strengthening India’s renewable power infrastructure.
