IndusInd Bank: During an internal audit of its microfinance business, the bank found Rs 674 crore was incorrectly recorded as interest over three quarters of FY 2024–25. This amount was fully reversed by Jan. 10, 2025. Additionally, Rs 595 crore in unsubstantiated balances under "other assets" were offset against "other liabilities" in January 2025.
Infosys: Extended its strategic partnership with DNB Bank ASA to accelerate IT modernisation efforts.
Bharti Airtel: Promoter Singtel plans to sell shares worth Rs 8,568 crore via open market transactions on Friday.
Alkem Laboratories: Subsidiary Enzene Biosciences reported a cybersecurity incident affecting its US unit. Some employee email accounts were compromised, resulting in fraudulent fund transfers. The amount is under investigation, with external agencies involved.
