Maruti Suzuki e Vitara and MG Cyberster Electrify Indian EV Market

India's automotive sector gears up for two landmark electric vehicle launches in March 2025. The MG Cyberster, priced at ₹50 lakh (ex-showroom) with Battery-as-a-Service, debuts as India’s most affordable electric roadster, featuring a 510PS AWD setup, 443 km WLTP range, and scissor doors. Its 77kWh battery enables a 0-100kph sprint in 3.2 seconds. Meanwhile, Maruti Suzuki’s e Vitara enters as a budget-friendly electric SUV, targeting mass-market adoption with competitive pricing. Both models highlight advanced tech: the Cyberster boasts ADAS, tri-screen interiors, and Bose audio, while the e Vitara promises Maruti’s reliability in the EV space. These launches signal intensified competition in India’s premium and affordable EV segments.
