Maruti Suzuki Hikes Wagon R Prices: Popular Hatchback Now Costlier by Up to Rs 15,000

Maruti Suzuki has implemented a price increase for its popular Wagon R hatchback, effective February 2025. The VXi 1.0 AGS, ZXi 1.2 AGS, ZXi+ 1.2 AGS, and ZXi+ AGS dual-tone variants see the highest hike of Rs 15,000, while all other variants, including CNG models, have become costlier by Rs 10,000. The Wagon R now ranges from Rs 5.64 lakh to Rs 7.47 lakh (ex-showroom). This price adjustment affects multiple Maruti models and is attributed to rising input costs. Despite the increase, the Wagon R remains a top choice in the hatchback segment, offering 1.0L and 1.2L engine options with manual and AMT transmissions.
