Mirra Andreeva Joins All-Time Greats as One of the Youngest Indian Wells Finalists

Mirra Andreeva, at just 17 years old, has made history by becoming one of the youngest women to reach the Indian Wells final. She joins an elite group of tennis legends who achieved this feat before turning 18. The list includes Monica Seles, who reached the final in 1991 at 17 years and three months; Martina Hingis, who won the title in 1998 at 17 years and five months; Serena Williams, who won in 1999 at 17 years and five months; Kim Clijsters, who was a finalist in 2001 at 17; and now Andreeva, who defeated Iga Swiatek to secure her spot. Andreeva's victory marks her second consecutive WTA 1000 final appearance, following her title win in Dubai.
