Mott's Magic: Delhi Capitals Snag World Cup-Winning Coach for IPL 2025

The Delhi Capitals have appointed Matthew Mott as an assistant coach for the IPL 2025. Formerly of the England white-ball coach, he will team up with head coach Hemang Badani, with Venugopal Rao as director of cricket and Munaf Patel as bowling coach. Mott has great experience: he served the Kolkata Knight Riders for the first two seasons of the IPL before he went on to lead the Australian women's team to World Cup glory. His last assignment was with the England men's white-ball team that won the T20 World Cup title in 2022. The Capitals will embark on their attempted quest for a maiden IPL trophy against the Lucknow Super Giants in Visakhapatnam on March 24th.
