On October 29, 2025, King Charles III and Queen Camilla made their first official visit to the iconic BAPS Neasden Temple as monarchs. The visit coincided with the temple’s 30th anniversary and the celebrations of Diwali and the Hindu New Year. The royal couple was warmly welcomed by temple trustees and spiritual leaders, including Head Priest Sadhu Yogvivekdas Swami.
The King and Queen took part in a sacred “nadachadi” ceremony, offered prayers, and observed the abhishek ritual of Shri Nilkanth Varni Maharaj.
