ACME Solar Holdings Ltd has been the dominant force in India's renewable energy space with a series of strategic wins in Andhra Pradesh. The company is poised to gain from viability gap financing of ₹2.7 million per MWh, a massive fund infusion meant to enhance the economic viability of its clean energy projects.

In a competitive auction, ACME Solar secured the Ghani solar project at ₹222,000 per MW per month and the Kuppam project at ₹210,000 per MW per month. Both projects are expected to contribute towards a significant portion of the state's renewable energy targets while giving a boost to ACME's growing presence in southern India.

Further fueling its momentum, ACME Solar has also won a 275 MW / 550 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Andhra Pradesh. This is a landmark move towards integrating firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) solutions, allowing grid stability and power supply throughout the day.

These developments are aligned with ACME's broader strategy of taking its renewable portfolio to 6,970 MW, inclusive of solar, wind, hybrid, and storage technology. These current refinancing of ₹2,491 crores for operational projects in Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Punjab by the company further suggest its emphasis on financial stability and long-term sustainability.
