Allied Blenders and Distillers (ABD) has received approval to increase its production capacity by 1.5 million bulk litres. This expansion aligns with the company's ongoing growth strategy, which includes significant investments in backward integration and capacity enhancement. ABD recently completed expanding its Rangapur distillery in Telangana from 54.75 to 65 million litres annually. The company is also investing ₹525 crore over three years to improve its backward integration capabilities, including acquiring and expanding a distillery in Maharashtra and establishing a malt facility in Telangana. These initiatives are expected to drive cost efficiencies and improve margins by approximately 300 basis points.
