American Chapter Closes—Gravita India Recycles Its Global Game Plan

Gravita India Ltd., the global leader in recycling and non-ferrous metal solutions, has made a public disclosure of the voluntary wind-down of its wholly owned U.S. subsidiary, Gravita USA Inc., as part of a broader strategic reconfiguration program.

 

The organization stated that the action was intended to optimize international operations, reduce administrative overhead, and focus on high-growth opportunities where Gravita has a stronger operational footprint and customer base. Gravita made it clear that the shutdown is not expected to have material impact on its consolidated financials or ongoing international business.

 

Gravita India has been going at full speed in establishing markets in Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia, where demand in these markets for recycled lead, aluminum alloy, and plastic granules is increasing. The company is poised to follow up on its business model based on sustainability, with a push towards circular economy and green manufacturing.

 

This move follows prior restructuring aimed at splitting up other loss-making or non-core subsidiaries.
