Tata Power Company Ltd. has unveiled a strong growth plan to raise its total operational capacity to 7.3 GW by the end of FY26, solidifying its position as a sector leader in India's clean energy transition. The company will add 1.7 GW of utility-owned capacity during the next fiscal year, with an emphasis on solar and hybrid projects.
In a notable milestone, Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd. (TPREL) has already commissioned 752 MW of solar projects in Q1 FY26, and this is a good start to the year. These projects are distributed across several states and include utility-scale installations as well as group captive and rooftop installations.
