Avalanche Alert in Himachal Pradesh: Four Districts on High Alert

An avalanche warning has been issued for high-altitude regions of four districts in Himachal Pradesh: Kullu, Lahaul-Spiti, Kinnaur, and Chamba. The warning cautions people and travelers to be cautious because of the possibility of medium-sized avalanches on steep slopes. Heavy rain and snowfall have caused a disruption in life in these areas, with more than 200 roads closed and power cuts observed. People are advised by the authorities to travel on marked safe routes and refrain from unnecessary journeys to avoid accidents.
