Bajaj Auto has announced its entry into the e-rickshaw category with the launch of the Riki brand. The passenger model Riki P4005 is priced at ₹190,890, while the cargo variant Riki C4005 is priced at ₹200,876. The vehicles promise higher range, faster charging, and enhanced safety features.

According to official company disclosures and media reports, Bajaj Auto unveiled the Riki series as part of its expansion into electric mobility. The Riki P4005 offers a certified range of 149 km, while the Riki C4005 cargo variant delivers up to 164 km. Both models are equipped with lithium-ion batteries, hydraulic brakes, topple-free suspension, and can be fully charged in about 4–4.5 hours. Bajaj plans a phased rollout across India, targeting more than 200 cities by March 2026.
