Bajaj Consumer Care Limited has announced the acquisition of Vishal Personal Care Pvt. Ltd, owner of the popular Banjara's brand, for Rs 120 crore. The deal, revealed on February 14, 2025, will be executed in two phases, with Bajaj initially acquiring a 49% stake, followed by the remaining 51%. This strategic move aims to strengthen Bajaj's presence in South India and expand its natural and Ayurvedic personal care product range. Banjara's, founded in 1991, has a strong reputation for high-quality hair and skin care solutions. The acquisition aligns with Bajaj's vision to capitalize on the growing demand for natural personal care products and enhance its market reach across India.
