Bajaj Consumer Care is set to complete the acquisition of a 51 percent stake in Vishal Personal Care in the first quarter of the financial year 2026. This move marks a significant expansion in Bajaj Consumer Care’s portfolio, reinforcing its presence in the natural and Ayurvedic personal care segment.
The acquisition, which began with an initial 49 percent stake purchase, is part of a two-phase transaction aimed at leveraging Vishal Personal Care’s strong distribution network and established brand reputation. Vishal Personal Care, known for its Banjara’s range of herbal and skincare products, has a retail presence across 70,000 outlets in South India.
Bajaj Consumer Care plans to integrate Vishal Personal Care’s offerings into its existing product lineup, enhancing its reach in both southern and Hindi-speaking markets.
