Bajel’s Mega Upgrade: Ranjangaon Plant Scales to Meet Global Power Demands

Bajel Projects Ltd has undertaken a significant capacity expansion in its anchor manufacturing facility at Ranjangaon, Maharashtra, reinforcing its position of focus on India's power infrastructure development. The move is likely to significantly improve production capacities in transmission towers, monopoles, and highmast structures.

Expansion Highlights

The Ranjangaon facility, spread over 67,840 sq. m., will increase its manufacturing capacity from 40,000 MT to 60,000 MT annually.
Added are new Italian, German, and UK automatic welding machines and galvanizing baths, and new CNC angle punching machines
Expansion will finance Bajel's growing order book in domestic and international EPC projects, such as recent transactions in Southeast Asia and Africa

Strategic Impact

Increased capacity will allow Bajel to execute larger turnkey projects in power transmission and distribution, like 765 kV EHV lines and substations
It will also boost monopole production with 90% less land consumed and faster installation—ideal for hilly terrain and cities
Bajel is aiming for a 25% decrease in lead times and improved delivery dependability among its customers, including PGCIL, MPPTCL, and PSPCL
