BGR Energy Systems Limited has received an appeal order levying a Value Added Tax (VAT) of ₹4.1 million. This development follows a series of tax-related orders the company has faced recently. Earlier, BGR Energy Systems was involved in a GST dispute in Maharashtra, where it was ordered to pay ₹20.38 crore due to alleged excess Input Tax Credit (ITC) claims. Additionally, the company received a rectification order in January 2025 that dropped a tax liability of ₹35.07 crore related to the TN GST Act.
