Bhagva, an international spiritual services and technology platform, has launched a significant program to train 7,000 pandits in partnership with Sanskrit Mahavidyalayas across India. The initiative seeks to bring Sanskrit education into the modern era, integrating traditional Vedic knowledge with modern skills to improve global placement.

Key Points

1. Opening of 60+ Centers of Excellence
Bhagva will open more than 60 Centres of Excellence (CoEs) in India to deliver systematic training programs.

The project is supported by $1 million Pre-Series A funding, which guarantees high-quality education and employment opportunities.

The CoEs will be initially launched in Bhavan's Shri Shankaracharya Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya (Delhi), Sharda Devi Sanskrit Vidyapeeth (Delhi), Shrinath Veda Bhyas Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya (Aurangabad), and Shree Ram Sanskrit College (Nashik).

2. Training Modules and Skill Development
The course comprises Purohit Training, which emphasizes rituals, Vedic rituals, and temple behavior.

Other courses involve Temple Management, Veda-Shastra Pravachan, Vedic Mathematics, and heritage skills such as agarbatti making, sculpture, and traditional garland making.

Bhagva will provide 7-day certification modules and 60-90-day upskilling programs to improve soft skills, digital literacy, and service protocols.

3. Global Placement and Employment Opportunities
Bhagva will train, coach, and place more than 7,200 pandits worldwide by 2026.

Trained pandits will be placed in prominent temples, diaspora groups, spiritual resorts, and cultural tourism networks.

The program is coordinated by the International Mandir Prabhandhak Council, providing systematic career progression for trained professionals.

4. Future Outlook and Industry Impact
The partnership aims to bridge ancient knowledge with contemporary innovations, increasing access to Sanskrit education and making it more relevant globally.

Experts are confident that the program will infuse India's cultural heritage and provide sustainable employment opportunities.

Bhagva's co-founder Jagriti Motwani underlined the need to assist students in developing skills applicable outside the classroom and rediscovering purpose in life.
