South Africa’s Aiden Markram has once again shown why he’s considered a player for the big moments. In the World Test Championship final at Lord’s, Markram’s unbeaten century has put South Africa within touching distance of a historic win over Australia. After the day’s play, teammate Keshav Maharaj spoke openly about just how much Markram’s knock means to the team and their fans.

Markram’s 102 not out came at a time when South Africa really needed someone to anchor the innings, especially with the team chasing a tough target of 282.
