Flipkart Co-founder Binny Bansal has invested $20 million in ShopOS, a Bengaluru-based startup building an AI-native operating system for ecommerce brands. The funding, led through his venture firm 3STATE Ventures, will accelerate platform development, expand engineering teams, and onboard global brand partners.
Founded by Sai Krishna V K and Ajay P V—the duo behind Scapic, which Flipkart acquired in 2020—ShopOS aims to revolutionize how brands create, market, and manage their online stores. The platform uses AI agents to automate content creation (product descriptions, images, videos), run localized ad campaigns, and personalize store layouts in real time based on user behavior.
Bansal praised the team’s vision, calling ShopOS “the commerce stack of the future,” especially for cross-border trade and hyper-personalization. With early traction in India, Europe, and the UAE, ShopOS is positioning itself as a global player in AI-driven ecommerce infrastructure.
