Blue Cloud Softech Solutions Ltd has signed a $15 million strategic MoU with US-based Byte Eclipse to co-develop advanced Edge AI chips designed for industrial AIoT applications in the Oil & Gas sector. This collaboration aims to drive real-time, on-site data processing and operational excellence within 18 months.
Blue Cloud Softech Solutions Ltd, a Hyderabad-based AI and technology firm, announced a major partnership with US IoT solutions provider Byte Eclipse under a $15 million Memorandum of Understanding for Edge AI chip development. The project focuses on creating cutting-edge chips to enhance industrial AIoT applications, specifically tailored to meet the demanding environmental and operational challenges of the Oil & Gas sector.
The Edge AI chips will enable real-time analytics and autonomous operations by processing large volumes of sensor data such as vibration, temperature, and pressure locally. This reduces bandwidth usage, lowers transmission costs, and improves data security by keeping sensitive information on-site. Designed for rugged conditions, the chips will function efficiently in remote, low-connectivity locations like offshore platforms.
The first project phase is targeted for completion within 18 months, marking a transformative step for Blue Cloud Softech in the industrial technology space. Chairman Janaki Yarlagadda emphasized that this strategic partnership aligns with the company's vision to revolutionize industrial operations with cost-efficient, sustainable, and cutting-edge technological solutions. The deal also positions Blue Cloud to capitalize on India's booming Industrial AIoT market projected to exceed $1 billion by 2027.
