Nagpur is all set to celebrate International Yoga Day with a largescale community event this weekend. The Yogathon, organized by The Times of India and Maharashtra Times, will take place at the Chitnavis Centre on June 21, starting at 6 a.m., inviting citizens of all ages to come together for a morning of movement, mindfulness, and collective calm.

Key Highlights:
  • Event Date & Time: June 21, 6 a.m. onwards
  • Venue: Chitnavis Centre, Civil Lines, Nagpur
  • Organizers: Times of India and Maharashtra Times
  • Open to All: Residents of all age groups are encouraged to participate
  • Focus: Promoting physical wellness, mental clarity, and emotional balance through yoga
The session will include guided yoga routines led by certified instructors, breathing exercises, and short meditative practices. Organizers say the goal is to make yoga more accessible and to encourage people to adopt it as a daily habit—not just a onceayear ritual.

Participants can register online or scan the QR code featured in local publications. The event is expected to draw hundreds of early risers, wellness enthusiasts, and firsttime yoga explorers.

With the city’s green spaces and growing interest in holistic health, Nagpur’s Yogathon is shaping up to be more than just a fitness event—it’s a sunrise celebration of community and wellbeing.
