Ceigall India Wins ₹193.6 Mn Arbitration Award—Legal Victory to Boost Balance Sheet

Ceigall India Ltd, a leading EPC and HAM infrastructure player, has received an arbitration award worth ₹193.6 million, marking a significant legal win that is expected to positively impact its financials. The award was granted under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, in a dispute with a government-linked entity over project-related claims.

 

This is the second major arbitration win for Ceigall in less than a year, following a ₹54.21 crore award in December 2024 against the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA). The latest award includes interest components and is expected to be realized in the coming quarters, strengthening the company’s liquidity position.

 

Ceigall has been actively resolving legacy disputes while expanding its project portfolio across 11 Indian states, with a current order book exceeding ₹3,900 crore. The company recently completed a merger with C&C Construction Ltd, further consolidating its position in the infrastructure space.
